In Madrid (2)

And that was disappointing: no bull fighting on Monday. And most museums are closed on Monday as well so not much left than a shopping mall. And I decided to skip the flamenco show here (beautiful music) and our diner there. Staying in our hotel where my bottle of 1 liter of Scotch whiskey, which we bought in a Syrian duty free shop 10 days ago, is cheaper than one glass here at the bar..))
Anyway, tomorrow a city tour by bus, and a visit to Prado Museum, which has the largest collection of European art!

In Madrid (1)

Yesterday Ö and I flew to Madrid. We have been in Spain before but never in Madrid. Ö has two annual meetings here and the rest is lunches and long diners. Now off to see some bull fighting and tonight Flamenco show and diner in one of the finest restaurants of Madrid.

I didn’t write the second part of our trip to Syria but will do that later this week. Wednesday we will take a flight to Barcelona for pleasure and stay there until Saturday.
Later more...
