You quoted a great friend of mine, a true gentleman, and a genius. He was kind enough to answer my many questions when, in the 70s, I read his "Intelligent Man's Guide to Sciences." And he wrote a nice card to my 12-year-old son, Martin, who already knew it all.
Later on, he eliminated Intelligent Man from the title, and called the book simply "Asimov's Guide to Sciences." Do you think he did it because he saw, through my letters, that women could understand a few things? Naw....Some feminists must have been after him. He also remarried (after his divorce) a super brain.
