General Kenan Evren, 92, who headed the 1980 coup and served as president between 1892-1989, threatened everyone that he will commit suicide if he must stand trial over his role in the 1980 coup. These kind of remarks are childish, unethical and emotional blackmail. If he thinks that he had the moral right to stage a coup in 1980, why not defend yourself in court, now?
